Founded by PhD-trained researcher Dr. Aisha Langford, Funeral Syllabus was created to provide education and support in the areas of funeral and memorial service planning.

In addition to funeral and memorial service planning, Dr. Langford is interested in ways to better support affordable senior living and elder care options. This growing interest is in part due to her own experiences with caregiving and experience helping family and friends think through long-term care options for aging loved ones.

Many people get overwhelmed when thinking about estate planning, end-of-life wishes, and funeral planning. These negative emotions are due in part to financial costs and family dynamics.
